MKOREZ® Resin

The MKOREZ series is a water-white resin synthesized from pure styrene monomer, colorless and odorless. These are thickening and reinforcing adhesive resins based on the resins used in EVA hot melt adhesives. Their stability makes them particularly suitable for high quality binding adhesives, hygiene products and luxury packaging. In addition, due to the presence of α-methyl styrene, its high softening point can increase the thermal deformation temperature of low melting point plastics, such as: PE, PVC, TPE, etc.

MKOREZ resin application recommendation

PUR Hot melt Adhesive (Woodworking & Electronics & Automotive Interiors) :

Add 5-10%, has certain compatibility with polyester polyols; The styrene phase crystallizes faster, creating an initial adhesive force that helps the substrate to initially position. Recommended: MK-85/MK-100.

Casting wax:

MK resin can improve the flow property of wax. Recommended: MK-85/MK-100.

EVA system (Book binding & Packaging adhesive) :

Add 3-8%, improve heat resistance, do not provide viscosity; Recommended: MK-85/MK-100.

Pressure sensitive adhesive system (packaging adhesive & tape) :

Add 3-8%, compatible with styrene block, fill hard segment; Thus improving cohesion and heat resistance. Recommended: MK-100 / MK-115

UV Acrylic Hot melt Adhesive /OCA Optical Tape:

MK resin is compatible with acrylic systems and provides good initial viscosity. Recommended: MK-100 / MK-115.

Application of MKOREZ resin in TPE
