Cashew shell oil diol

Cashew phenol is a unique natural phenolic material extracted by distillation of cashew shell oil and is the main component of cashew shell oil polyols and derivatives. The molecule consists of an aromatic ring, a hydroxyl group and a long aliphatic side chain. The long aliphatic side chain gives the system strong hydrophobic property. The aromatic structure of cashew shell oil polyol itself can bring excellent heat resistance and acid and alkaline resistance to the product. Moreover, the aromatic ring of the product itself combined with the long aliphatic chain gives the cashew shell oil polyol product good hydrolytic stability and mechanical strength. Provides unique properties for adhesives, coatings, foams, elastomers, PUD formulations.
